The Master of Arts in Media Design is a new award, tuned to the needs of the multimedia industry and specifically designed with multimedia and media design graduates in mind.
The programme is jointly accredited by the Irish Higher Education and Training Awards Council and the University of Applied Sciences, Darmstadt, Germany: it is the only such joint Award in the European Union.
The programme runs over a nine month period, divided into two equal semesters, the first consists of a range of taught modules and the second is devoted solely to the completion of, according to the choice of the student, a research thesis or a media design project. Flexible delivery and supports form an integral part of the programme.
